MG Motor India has entered into a strategic partnership with Myles. Myles is a car sharing and car subscription company from Carzonrent. This partnership will help them to provide better mobility solutions to their customers. This partnership is also estimated to be worth about INR 250 crores just in the first phase.
This news comes in light of MG Motors preparing to launch the MG Hector in India soon. This partnership will also allow them to utilize the existing Myles service across 21 different cities along with their own network of 110 sales and service.
Rajeev Chaba, MD of MG Motor India believes this partnership will help their customers to experience the new MG Hector on a subscription basis with Myles. He said, “As part of our commitment to provide innovative and disruptive mobility solutions, we are excited about our strategic tie-up with Myles. This will help to cater to the evolving requirements of the new age customers. This will enable customers to experience our upcoming SUV – MG Hector on a subscription basis. They can also book test drives of the car and avail courtesy car benefit through the Myles platform. We plan to extend the Myles subscription model for our second vehicle as well – a pure EV that will be launched by the end of this year.”
MG Motor India Innovation Initiative
This tie-up is a part of MG Motor’s initiative called ‘MG Drives Innovation’. This involves recognizing and encouraging start-ups in the automotive sector. In other news, the company has also partnered with IIT Delhi to develop better technology to ensure child safety.
