Morris Garages is gearing up for the launch of their first product, the Hector. The launch is expected to happen soon as recently the hector was caught undisguised without any camouflage. Now, in a fresh set of pictures, the interiors have been revealed. The pictures give a fair idea of how Hector’s interior will be.
Firstly, the Hector gets a 3-spoke steering wheel with multiple control buttons on it. The wheel is a flat-bottomed unit to make you feel sporty. We could also spot a start-stop button towards the left, surrounded by a chrome ring.
Moving left towards the center console, you will find the massive, attention-grabbing, vertically-stacked 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The system will support both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This system will be the hub for the iSmart connectivity features that the Hector offers. The infotainment system will come pre-loaded with apps like AccuWeather and Gaana.com.
The infotainment system gets rounded on/off button that also serves as the volume control knob. We also get more buttons alongside, finished in chrome. The touchscreen is flanked by two large, vertically stacked A/C Vents. Below it can be seen, the USB charging ports and AUX input port.
Going by the pictures, we can confirm that the SUV will receive all-black treatment on the interior, while the dashboard will get a soft touch material. The MG Hector will rival against the likes of Mahindra XUV 500, Jeep Compass, and the Tata Harrier.
In terms of size, The Hector is the largest SUV in its segment which can be confirmed from the undisguised pictures. As reported by us, the SUV might also get a hybrid powertrain, which could sport the 48-volt mild hybrid motor.
The Hector will be priced in the range similar to the Tata Harrier and the Mahindra XUV500. This suggests that the prices could start at INR 13 Lakhs and could go all the way up to 18Lakhs for the top of the line variant. The SUV is expected to be launched at the end of May, with deliveries beginning at the end of June.
