Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the new Mercedes Benz C300 Cabriolet in India. It costs Rs. 65.24 lakh. This car gets an all-new engine under the hood along with visual changes.
The 2018 Mercedes Benz C300 Cabriolet runs on a new BS VI engine. This four cylinder motor produces 258PS and 370Nm of torque. This is paired with a 9 speed automatic gearbox. Mercedes claims it can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.2 seconds. It also has a claimed top speed of 250 kmph.
The new C class Cabriolet also gets several exterior cosmetic changes. This includes multibeam LED headlights and tail-lights, a redesigned front bumper, new designs for the 17-inch alloy wheels and three new paint options. The LED headlight system has a unique pixel-specific beam range and coverage control. This is first of its kind by Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes Benz C300 Cabriolet Interiors
The interior is also new. It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. It also gets a new steering wheel with dual touchpad controls. There are a lot of interior color options to chose from, including the roof. It also gets the option of a brown, open-pore walnut wood trim. There is also an optional 64 color ambient lighting to further enhance the interior feel. The new C300 Cabriolet comes equipped with the AIRSCARF system. This noticeably reduces the airflow in the interior.
The interiors also feature a Burmester 13-speaker surround sound option for the C-Class Cabriolet. Digital and analog amps work to output an impressive 590 watts of lush audio.
Mercedes-Benz is claiming that the cost of ownership for the new C300 Cabriolet is just Rs. 67,000 for a period of two years. The closest rival for the C300 Cabriolet in India is the Audi A3 Cabriolet which costs around Rs. 50 lakh.
