Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara facelift for the world ahead of SUV’s market launch. The updated Vitara SUV was actively tested in India and recently the photos of the SUV being tested were posted across the social media. Maruti Suzuki will launch the Vitara SUV at first in the European markets in the month of September this year. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara facelift is expected to launch in India the next year. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara facelift will come with a wide range of updates in terms of features, cosmetics, and mechanics.

The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara facelift will be available in two new colour options. The price of the Vitara facelift is not yet revealed, it will be revealed closer to the launch date. The facelifted Vitara is 4.2 metres long with a metallic turquoise colour scheme on the exterior. The other exterior updates include a revised front grille, bigger LED day time running lights, updated front bumper with a larger airdam, new fog lamps and tinted rear windshield. The updated Vitara SUV will run on five inches alloy wheels with black plastic cladding wheel arches.

The standard features including lane departure warning, dual sensor brake support, traffic alert, blind spot monitor, speed limit recognition and traffic sign will be available on offer for the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara facelift. Once launched, the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara will rival Hyundai Creta. The updated Vitara SUV is a large and more premium SUV compared to the Vitara Brezza. In the International markets the new Vitara SUV will be ranked above the S-Cross.

The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara facelift will be available with both petrol and diesel motor options. The updated Vitara SUV will extract power from a four cylinder 1.6 litre petrol engine, which churns out a power of 118 bhp and produces a peak torque of 156 Nm. On the other hand the 1.4 litre turbocharged engine will develop a power of 138 bhp and will produce a peak torque of 220 Nm. Powering the Vitara SUV to the 1.6 litre diesel engine will produce a power of 118 bhp and 320 Nm torque. Transmission option includes both automatic and manual. The engines come paired with six speed automatic transmission and five or six speed manual transmission.
