Recently, Maruti Suzuki India has announced that its premier crossover, S-Cross has successfully reached 1 lakh cumulative sales breakthrough. This indicates the popularity of the S-Cross in the country. The large passenger car models are extremely popular in the Indian market. The company also looks forward to observing the increase in its sales in this festive season.
A remarkable sales increase was noticed after the modified version of S-Cross was released. Maruti Suzuki has distributed the S-Cross in more than 329 NEXA showrooms all over India. It has been more than 3 years of the existence of the crossover in the country and still, the fans are crazy about this model. It was the leading model which was brought in Nexa showrooms.
The facelifted S-cross was launched in October 2017 with few cosmetic changes and additional cabin features. In the revision, the crossover got some high-level safety features like rear parking sensors, speed alert system, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts and passenger seatbelt reminder. The Nexa Blue shade has attracted many customers with its dashing look. The company has reported demand of 36 per cent more for the blue colour.
The modified S-Cross is outfitted with new grille highlighting chrome assent, all-new headlamps, husky bumper and renewed fog lamps. The company has also offered a top-spec variant of S-Cross which comes with a stylish LED tail light assembly, new alloy wheels and ORVMs with turn indicators as well. The cabin has got a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Maruti S-Cross is powered by a 1.3-litre four-cylinder diesel engine which generates 88.5bhp power and 200Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel engine is also equipped with the company’s Smart Hybrid system highlighting regenerative braking. The S-cross compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Captur and upcoming Tata Harrier and Nissan Kicks.
