Recently, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the all-new modified version of S-Cross crossover. It will be now available with extra impressive features in terms of safety. The main reason for updating the features is to improve the safety of the line-up. However, with the increase in its features, the company has also raised the price tag of the crossover. Although, the prices are completely worth it as the vehicle is integrated with high-level safety features and other detailing that was required to be updated.
The safety features of the renewed S-Cross includes rear parking sensors, a speed warning system and a passenger seatbelt alert which are present in all of the four versions. S Cross is a great choice for all urban customers looking for a mid-spec vehicle with more safety features to drive anytime. The revisions have been also received by the Delta variant which boasts highlights such as the Smart Key function with push-button start, that was only offered for top-specs variant till now.
Delta now sits on larger 16-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, the S-Cross will be now available with cruise control, automatic climate control, rear windscreen washer, and wiper. The features are consists of auto-folding outer rear view mirrors assembled with turn indicators, automatic climate control, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and cruise control. The other top-specs variants haven’t received any updated as they already have all the features worth its price tag.
The mechanical specifications are not changed so the S-Cross is powered by the identical 1.3-litre diesel powertrain which generates 89 bhp of power and 200 Nm of peak torque. The engine is combined to a 5-speed manual transmission. As per previous reports, the company can bring the Ciaz facelift engine on the S-Cross, but this news is not officially declared. The Ciaz facelift runs on 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine which delivers 103 bhp and 138 Nm torque.
After the launch of the 2018 facelift version, the s-cross has reported an impressive sales mark. The new update has made the Delta variant completely worth it. The customer will definitely opt for his variant as it is combined with safety and decent price. The top-spec variants (Zeta and Alpha) remains with the same features and specs, still, the price is hiked without any reason. The all-new crossover lock horns with the popularity of the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and the likes.
