Maruti Suzuki Recalls: Maruti Suzuki India has produced many mind-blowing vehicles in this year. Recently, the largest four-wheeler company has announced a recall or Service Campaign for the latest Swift and the Baleno. The showroom merchants have been informed to recall the sold vehicles and thoroughly check for a fault. The reason is really shocking. The company has reported a ” possible fault in brake vacuum hose” of both the latest model. In the official website of the company, you can see that they have requested the owners to take their models for analysis in the showroom. So, if you are a Swift or Baleno owner, must check if your vehicle is also affected.
According to the current reports, total 52,686 units of the latest Swift and the Baleno are affected by the fault. The units which were built in between the period of 1st December 2017 and 16th March 2018 are possible to detect a fault. However, you don’t have to worry if your vehicle is also affected as they will be fixed in the newly announced service campaign by Maruti Suzuki India. They have planned to officially reach the customers on 14th May this year for inquiry and repair of the faulty component. The customers will be not charged for the repairing and servicing.
Service Campaigns will be held all over the world where the Swift and Baleno are sold. This analysis might disturb and not appreciated by the customers. As we all know, latest Swift and Baleno are produced from Maruti’s Gujarat factory. However, it is not confirmed whether the fault was found in that product group. Powered by an identical powerful 1.2-litre K series petrol engine and a 1.3-litre DDiS DOHC engine. The petrol engine delivers 84PS power and 115Nm torque whereas and diesel engine provides 75PS power and 190Nm torque. Although the fault doesn’t damage the braking system completely, it is strictly recommended to take your car to the service center if you find your vehicle on the website list as the fault could affect the braking system seriously in future.
