Maruti Suzuki line has been upgraded with BS6 CNG model, so as the Eeco, Multipurpose Van with BS6 S-CNG has been launched. The Maruti Suzuki Eeco now comes has been multipurpose option from family movers to fleet owner, along with cargo mover due to is versatality. With the launch of BS6 S-CNG option, Maruti Suzuki takes a step forward to “Mission Green Million”, which aims to sell next 1 million green vehicle in couple of years.
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco was initially launched in 2010, which later replace the famous “kidnapping car”, – Maruti Suzuki Omni. Since, the launch Maruti Suzuki Eeco has managed to cross 6.7 lakh units of milestone and counting. With addition of BS6 S-CNG, the manufacturer expects to grow the sales number. The Factory fitted S-CNG techonology from Maruti Suzuki is the best in the market, due to its low maintenance, highly efficient with mileage numbers and safer to operate with tuned up engine and suspension.

The Eeco is offered in total of 12 variants with option of 5-seater, 7 seater, Cargo and Ambulance. The Eeco is powered with 1.2 litre, G12B engine which generates 72 bhp @ 6000 RPM and 98 Nm of peak torque @ 3000 RPM which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. In terms of safety, the Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes with Driver airbag, Driver and co-passenger seat belt reminder, ABS and EBD along with reverse parking sensor.
