Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift: After many leaked spy shots and features, the current report states that the Maruti Suzuki will finally reveal the next-gen Ciaz Facelift, in the month of October this year. The company has tested the car many times and is ready to rock Indian market in this Diwali. It is said to launch in October, but the sales will be commenced later this year. It will be coming in a refreshing look which is different from the previous models. The company has added many remarkable elements in the upcoming next-gen Facelift which will be exciting to know.
Improved Cabin And Body Design
All-new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift has introduced many superior improvements in the body and also inside the cabin. In terms of surface upgradations, it will be provided with a latest dual-slat grille, innovative fog lamp section and fenders, latest extended hood ridges, the composition of LED Daytime Running Lights and smoked headlamps, anew produced alloy wheels and HID projectors as well. As per recent spy shots, the rear portion will be outfitted with latest tail lights and shield space. The facelift will sit on latest 16-inch alloy wheels which will add an impressive sporty look to the vehicle.
The top-spec option is expected to come with a standard sunroof whereas the cabin will be noticed in an all-black trim and updated touchscreen infotainment system which will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The dashboard will be combined to a dual-pod instrument cluster, wider MID display, cruise control and many more. The seat material will be more comfortable compared to previous variant featuring seat upholstery. It will feature more high-level updated safety highlights.
At present, the standard version is available in two engine choices which are 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 91bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 130Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm whereas, the diesel engine delivers 89 bhp power at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 1,750 rpm. On the other hand, the latest upcoming Facelift variant will be powered by a latest powerful 1.5-litre petrol engine which will produce higher power figures at 103.2bhp of peak and 138.4Nm of peak torque. It is also expected to be launched in a diesel variant which will be a 1.5-litre engine as well, but this variant will be launched after the introduction of petrol variant. The petrol engine could e combined with a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox whereas, the diesel variant with 5-speed manual gearbox.
The existing variant, Ciaz sedan standard variant comes at INR 7.77 lakh whereas, the top-spec variant is available at INR 11.55 lakh as it is sold in approx. 13 trim. Both the prices are ex-showroom Delhi. So, the upcoming facelift variant will definitely come at a higher price between INR 8 lakh to INR 12 lakh (INR 20,000-INR 40,000 more than the outgoing variant). The latest Ciaz facelift will lock horns against the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, and Skoda Rapid.
