Maruti recently unveiled the Maruti Suzuki Baleno 2019 facelift. Bookings are also open with deliveries expected to begin very soon. Maruti has priced the car from INR 5.45 lakh to 8.77 lakh.

Majority of the changes in the 2019 Baleno is on the exterior. Maruti has revamped the front bumper of the car. The front now gets vertical fog lamps and a bigger air bottom air intake. The front grille also has a different design. Headlights, however, seem to be the same as the older model except with an LED unit over HID.
The side profile of the Baleno facelift is very similar to the older model. Not a lot of information is available about the rear end of the car. Maruti has also changed the alloy design on the new Baleno.
Interiors and Feature Updates
The interiors of the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets minor changes. This includes a new color scheme for the seats and door pads. The dashboard and AC vent trim also get some minor changes.
The new Baleno also gets the latest gen infotainment system. This first debuted in the new gen WagonR. This new unit has a brand new user interface with a host of features. It also comes with a smartphone app which expands the feature set with internet connected maps and digital radio. The Smartplay Studio can also display vehicle information like instantaneous and average fuel economy, driving range etc. It also provides toggles for alerts like door open, seatbelt warning etc. This also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
On the safety features side, the new Baleno is well equipped. All the variants get the usual standard features like rear parking sensors, speed warning, and passenger seatbelt warning. ABS and EBD are also offered as standard. It also gets dual front airbags and ISOFIX child seat system.
2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Engine and Performance
The facelift Baleno runs on the same 1.2-liter K-Series engine producing 83 bhp power and 115 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine is also the same 1.3-liter unit producing about 74bhp of power. The transmission options will also likely remain the same as the outgoing model.
