Maruti Suzuki has recently unveiled an image of the modified variant of Baleno which reveals that the hatchback will be soon launched. The company has also declared that the official bookings have been commenced at a token amount of just Rs 11,000. You can book the hatch at any Nexa dealership. The facelifted version of Baleno can be delivered to the customers by the end of January 2019.

The all-new Baleno Facelift has been spotted several times on test. The new variant will be more bold and striking from the front with a modified air dam and fog lamp installation in the bumper. It will get new front bumper and grille. The low price variants can be now available with more high-end features like projector headlamps. It will be outfitted with all-new alloy wheel treatment. The company has added some other exciting tweaks on the exterior which will be revealed at the official launch.

The cabin is also modified with premium decorations and technologies. It will get an all-new upholstery and a more advanced dash. The main intention for introducing the first facelifted version Baleno is to increase the safety features so that it could meet the new vehicle norms. It will come with many safety features as standard such as speed alert system, co-driver seat belt reminder, rear parking assist sensors, dual airbags, child seat restrain system (ISOFIX), Pre-tensioner and force limiter seat belts and ABS with EBD.

The Facelift variant will be powered by the same 1.2-litre K-Series engine which generates 83 bhp power and 115 Nm of peak torque. The engine is combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox and CVT automatic transmission also available for the petrol variant only. The top specs Baleno RS is available with 1.0-litre boosterjet turbo petrol unit which churns out 100 bhp power and 150 Nm of peak torque while combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company has yet to make an official announcement for the modification of the Baleno RS.
