Here is the situation: You want a car that has a sporty appeal. You have a discussion with your family and express your intent. As usual, everyone but you disagrees with it. Well, that is how it goes, isn’t it? They demand a car that can ferry all family people around and in comfort. You already know who the winner is.
This could have very well been the case of a Mahindra Marazzo owner from Kerala. Now, nobody in their wildest dreams would think, “Hmm… let us buy an MPV and bring a sporty appeal to it”. Going by “The MPV looks and appearance standards of India”, the Mahindra Marazzo, inspired by the shark, carries an aggressive face of its own. Those 7 slat front grille with a hexagonal pattern behind and wide open horizontal slats for the intercooler give the Marazzo an aggressive front face. It is complemented by black inserts around the fog lamp, smoked projector headlamps and the thick chin at the bottom. The side profile too carries a strong character line, accentuating the looks of the MPV.
A win-win situation and the Marazzo S
Now, all these were not enough for one Marazzo Owner from Kerala. He decided to spice things up and bring the “Sporty appeal” to the MPV. The result is the Sporty MPV or the Marazzo S, as we would love call it.
The front end now has a body colored chins and new fog lamp enclosures, complete with new prominent LED DRLs. The LED DRLs also function as turn indicators. Move to the side and you are greeted with body colored side skirts and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
The owner has taken into account the downforce he will be needing and has put on a roof-mounted spoiler at the rear. Not only that, the chrome strip at the base of the windshield has been blacked out. The rear is completed by a new bumper with LED lights.
The interior has been modified with red seat colors, enhancing the sporty appeal. All these modifications have for sure increased the sporty appeal and enhanced the road-presence of the MPV. Tell us in comments of what you think of these modifications. Yay or Nay?
