Pawan Goenka, MD of Mahindra and Mahindra will announce the name of Mahindra U321 MPV at a press conference to be held in Mumbai on 31st July,2018. He will reveal some details regarding the upcoming MPV as well. At present Mahindra MPV is code named as U321. Although certain documents revealed that the U321 MPV will be named Marazzo. A lot is already known about the Mahindra U321 MPV from the spy shots yet a few hours wait to get updated with the official imformations.

According to the first proper spy image of interiors of the upcoming Mahindra U321 MPV, the four wheeler is painted in a dual tone beige and black theme. Other parts of the interior include twin circular dials for the instrument cluster with coloured black lid partitioned by a large digital MID unit. Besides that the spy image shows the presence of the manual transmission lever between two front seats. However the spy shots missed out certain important interior features like steering mounted control, a touch screen infotainment system and push button start.

The Mahindra U321 MPV is expected to come with LED day time running lights, projector headlamps and roof rails are likely to be provided on offer. This upcoming four – wheeler is likely to run on 16 inches wheels. Besides that the upcoming Mahindra U321 MPV is likely to feature an aggressive fascia with sharp detailing within the headlights and a grille with a similar design of the new Scorpio.

Much regarding the mechanics is not disclosed by the spy images. The Mahindra U321 MPV is likely to get power from a 2.2 litre mHawk diesel engine. The engine is expected to deliver a power of 140 bhp and produce a peak torque of 330 Nm. The cities with displacement restriction are expected to be offered with the option of 1.99 litre mHawk diesel engine by Mahindra and Mahindra.

The Mahindra U321 MPV is the first passenger car of Mahindra and Mahindra to be engineered in Mahindra’s North American Technical centre. The upcoming Mahindra MPV is expected to come with both seven seater and eight seater variants. The car maker has reported that the upcoming MPV will be a marginally premium model to be positioned above Xylo. The upcoming Mahindra U321 MPV is likely to come with comfort and connectivity features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and automatic climate control.
