Mahindra TUV300 Plus: In previous reports, Mahindra & Mahindra was expected to officially declare the latest TUV300 Plus variant and the day has finally come. The company has recently posted the model on its official website so the vehicle is now confirmed to be launched in the coming month. Not just that, Mahindra has also posted the prices of the upcoming SUV variant officially. The SUV is expected to be introduced in the automotive market next month. It is a much-modified version of the previous variant.
According to the post of the official website of the company, “the SUV will be a single ‘P4’ version of the TUV300 Plus which you can buy from the nearby showrooms at an attractive price of INR 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) simply in the T4 grade. Now you must be eager to know the changes received by the PLUS variant of the TUV300. So, without wasting time, let’s know the differences of the TUV300 Plus. The new version will be wider and extended model of the sub 4-meter TUV. The company has added an extra line of seats which will be comfortable and suitable for more passengers. It will be also powered by an extremely robust powertrain.
The latest TUV300 Plus will be equipped with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel motor. The performance and speed level of the car will be increased compared to the previous model. The motor will be capable of producing 120 bhp of max power and 280 Nm of peak torque whereas it will be combined with a more compelling 6-speed transmission. So, you can see that the figures of the new model are increased compared to standard variant. However, the company will not produce AMT option for the latest variant. The engine performance is similar to the Scorpio, which is still in demand.
In terms of dimension, the TUV300 Plus is 4398 mm in length so, the new version will be 403 mm more extended compared to existing variant. With so many modifications received, it will be featuring the identical wheelbase figures which are 2,680mm. In the interior, it has more legroom for the rear passenger as well as the front seat. It will be now available as a 9-seater SUV which is an ideal concept in the market. The kerb weight is now 2,410 kg and it sits on 215/70 R16 tires. The exterior layout of the vehicle is somewhat same but gets a slightly modified front bumper, headlamp, and taillights.
The four-wheeler maker, Mahindra has not revealed the official launch date of the extensive version of TUV300. However, some report suggests that it will be launched soon next month, this year. The standard version of the vehicle is already a hit in the market. In this case, it will be exciting to know the demand of the more advanced engine variant. Mahindra has also released some TUV300 Plus units to specific buyers before launch. Many Mahindra outlets have already commenced the bookings for the upcoming variant. The vehicle will lock horns against the popularity of the Honda WR-V.
