Mahindra KUV100 NXT was the facelift version released the previous year, but the company added the first KUV100 in its compact SUV line-up in the year 2016. Earlier, when the facelift version was introduced, it lacked the AMT version which was reported to be revealed later. According to the exclusive report, the AMT version was detected near the Mahindra plant in Kandivali, Mumbai. The vehicle was seen semi-covered while on testing.
In the image, we can see a messy white car wrapped with a white cover which is the KUV 100 Nxt. The spy shots reveal the interior as well as exterior modifications. We notice that the exterior design is not changed from any side. The headlamp, taillights, and bumper are all same. Although, the cabin has received few changes which explain that the spied model is AMT unit. It is found with a unique gear lever located on the dashboard. It looked just like the TUV 300 which was introduced with AMT gearbox.
According to the latest reports, the spied car could be a diesel motor variant. The AMT variant is expected to be launched in both petrol and engine alternatives. The AMT version could be powered by 1.2-litre engines. The spied model was seen with a 6-seater arrangement highlighting the front center armrest. We expect that Mahindra will soon officially announce the AMT variant of KUV 100. The AMT version is in high demand among the Mahindra car fans. The current facelift variant is available at Rs 4.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The existing facelift rival against the likes of Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
