Toyota has recently revealed the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition which is scheduled to be introduced at the Chicago Auto Show. The company will produce only 1,200 units of the Heritage Editions which will hit the market in summer this year. The lavishing model is presented with bronze detailing on the exterior as well as in the cabin. The company has also updated the front fascia of the car. It will be available in two colour variants: Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl.
The model will be offered in two rows arrangement which will increase the legroom. It sits on 18-inch wheels highlighting bronze finish along with a centre cap. The wheels flaunt the brand’s label at the centre. It is outfitted with black finished grille and a Land Cruiser badge at the rear side. The headlights and fog lights are highlighted with a dark coloured theme which looks awesome. The side mirrors and fog light has also got chrome surrounds.
Moving inside the cabin, the car gets bronze decoration with contrast stitching. The steering wheel, door trim, centre stack, console, and seats feature same shade concept. The main attraction is the dark-themed black leather upholstery. The cabin is equipped with all-weather floor mats, cargo liner, ventilated front seats, four-zone automatic climate control with 28 air vents, and a power moonroof.
The cabin is also integrated with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and charging. It also highlights premium JBL Audio, 14 JBL speakers, split-screen capability, advanced voice recognition, and wireless phone charging. It comes with many high-end safety features including Automatic Collision Notification, Stolen Vehicle Location, Emergency Assistance Button (SOS), GPS-enhanced Roadside Assistance, Blind Spot Monitor, Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P), TSS-P Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert with Sway Warning System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beams.
The limited edition variant also comes with skid plates. It is powered by the existing 5.7-litre naturally aspirated V-8 engine is under the hood. It generates 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain is combined with a powerful 8-speed automatic transmission featuring a full-time four-wheel drive system with a 2-speed transfer case and a limited-slip rear differential.
2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition also comes with fantastic off-roading capabilities which are assisted by Multi-Terrain Select system, Downhill Assist Control, Hill Start Assist, CRAWL Control, and Off-Road Turn Assist. The company also offers ToyotaCare and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years only for this limited edition model. The prices of the vehicle will be revealed at the launch event.
