We all know about the Lambhorgini Museum or the Museo Lambhorgini owned and operated by the Automobili Lamborghini S.p.Ain Sant’Agata Bolognese, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. What we don’t know is that the automobiles they have recently kept on display are the ones which have been earlier used in famous hollywood movies.
It is a two storey building which was inaugarated in 2001. In 2016 the museum was renovated in order to accomodate more automobiles. A family tree of the cutomobiles manufactured by the Lambhorgini is also present in the Museum which marks important cars in its history. It is now home to supercars such as 350 GT and the Sesto Elemento and also concept cars like the Veneno and the Miura concept.
The recent event is the automobile exhibition named “Film Emotions – Lamborghini and the World of Cinema”, which was inaugarated by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali. The cars include the Miura P400 of The Italian Job (1969) and the Aventador used by Batman of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) which adorns the entrance. A runway marked by the iconic stars and visitors through the proud Lamborghini models , just like the Hollywood Walk of fame is the design and layout of the event. Huracán Coupé in the grey color used by Dr. Stephen Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) in Doctor Strange (2016) is also among the featured cars. Displayed alongside is a green Countach used in the opening scenes of The Cannonball Run (1981).The Fast & Furious 4 (2009) famed car LM200 has also made its way to the runway of fame. A Jalpa in matt black noticed in the exhibit is the one used by Sylvester Stallone in Rocky IV (1985). We will also find a Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo from the Italian film Veloce come il Vento (Italian Race, 2016) in the motorsport section. The Bar Sport (2011) featured red Lambhorgini 350 GT will be found further along the runway.
There is also a selfie panel for the visitors to click among the automobile world stars, just like the cliched film festival style and a digital totem, which provides cine quiz for the film enthusiasts out there.
