The most affordable KTM just got safer. KTM India announced Duke 200 ABS today with a price of Rs 1.6 Lakhs(ex-showroom). With the government rule that all two-wheelers above the 125cc displacement need an anti-lock braking system (ABS), KTM 200 has also joined the league.
The ABS unit will be supplied from Bosch. KTM Duke 200 ABS gets the same 300mm disc brake in the front 230mm at the rear. It carries all the same specs as the non-abs bike. Like the trellis frame, aluminum swingarm, 43 mm USD forks, and monoshock at the rear.
Powering this pocket-rocket is a sweet single cylinder 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, four-valves engine. Power and torque figures stands the same at 25ps at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm with a 6-speed gearbox.
Ever after 6 years after it’s launch KTM Duke 200 remains the most fun package in its segment. With its amazing power delivery and handling, it continues to be a great package.
Amit Nandi, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd. Said, “With the addition of ABS our customers will now have a choice of both ABS and non-ABS versions on the KTM 200 Duke.” So, you can still buy the non-abs variant of the Duke at 9k cheaper. But we recommend stretching the budget for the ABS variant for a more safer bike.
You can get the new KTM Duke 200 ABS at any KTM dealership at a price of Rs 1.6 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available in three colors – KTM signature Orange, White, and Black.
