Kia Motors India has released the first promotional video of its mid size SUV – the Seltos. The promotional video shows that Tiger Shroff, the well known Bollywood actor will be the brand ambassador for the seltos SUV in our country. The Kia Seltos SUV is the first product from the brand to be launched in our country. The mid sized SUV had made its global debut recently in India. The much awaited Seltos is likely to hit the Indian roads in the month of September. The SUV will carry a price tag in range Rs 13 lakhs to Rs 18 lakhs.
The Kia Seltos SUV sports a unique look with sharp, sporty and premium design. The chrome accents all over the SUV further enhances the sporty appearance of the SUV. The Seltros comes with chrome surrounds for the grille, over the headlamps, around the fog lamps and even at the rear. Apart from that a thin strip of chrome below the window is also provided. On the exterior, the Seltos comes with LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED rear lights as well as LED DRLs extending from the headlamp cluster and above the front signature Kia grille.

Kia has offered the Seltos SUV with a host of segment-first and best-in-class features and equipment. The SUV comes with features including heads-up display, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, 8-speaker Bose sound system, mood lighting and connected car technology with an embedded e-sim. Besides that, Kia has also provided a large 10.25-inch dual screen display on the cabin of new Seltos SUV of which one is the instrument cluster while the other being the touchscreen infotainment screen.
The Kia Seltos SUV will be available in both diesel and petrol powering versions. Powering the SUV is a 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. The company has not yet stated the exact engine specifications of the three motors. Kia have announced that the engines will come mated to a choice of four transmission options – a six-speed manual, a six-speed AT, a seven-speed DCT and an IVT (CVT).Once launched the Seltos will compete on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and upcoming Honda HR-V in the Indian market while the higher-end variants of the upcoming Seltos will lock horns with the Jeep Compass and the Tata Harrier.
