Kia Motors is looking to set its foot in India with its SUV. Kia Seltos previously knowns as SP2i, is now all set to unveil in India on 20th June 2019. The name is based on a Greek mythology word, Celtus, the son of Hercules. The company has replaced ‘C’ with ‘S’ which indicated ‘speed, sportiness, and strength’. Few days before the unveil Kia has released an official video on youtube giving away some highlights of the car. The car featured in the video has a Red colour paint, and the video reveals the front, back and side profile of the car quite clearly.

The front of the car features LED DRLs along with LED headlamps and indicators unit lying just below them. There’s also the distinctive grille design called tiger nose grill. The side profile reveals the shark fin antenna along with the roof rails and dual tone alloy wheels. The rear also gets the LED treatment for the tail lamps.

The car comes loaded with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also gets wireless charging, electronic parking brake, mood lighting, 360-degree camera, electric sunroof and hill hold assist. Other features include adaptive cruise control and a heads up display.

The car will come with a 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options. The engine will be paired with to manual as well as automatic transmissions. Kia Seltos is expected to be priced between Rs 10-16 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will compete with Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier, Renault Captur and the MG Hector.
