Kawasaki unveiled the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 back in 2018 EICMA and opened the bookings shortly thereafter. Now Kawasaki India has revealed the launch price of the 2019 Versys 1000. It will be sold at INR 10,69,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). Customers who pre-booked the motorcycle can expect the deliveries to begin starting in March 2019.
The new Kawasaki Versys 1000 runs on a 1043cc inline-four engine. It produces similar power figures as the older model – 118.3 bhp and 102 Nm torque. Also on offer is a 6-speed gearbox. The engine features Electronic Throttle Valves(ETV) & Electronic Cruise Control. Also, the ETV system is Kawasaki’s first system with the accelerator position sensor located in the handle. The suspension now offers better handling and stability.

Technically, it is a crossover from the Ninja 1000 with a purpose of thrilling performance with everyday versatility. I hope our customers explore endless possibilities with the Versys 1000. ”
The Versys 1000 is a crossover of the sports model, Ninja 1000. It maximizes rider enjoyment on the road, especially on longer touring. It also comes with a host of rider assists like Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Electronic Cruise Control, and Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF). The motorcycle sits on an aluminium twin-tube frame. It also gets twin LED headlights, an adjustable windscreen, and radially mounted brake calipers.
The new Versys 1000 is assembled locally at the Kawasaki Plant in Chakan, Pune. Interested customers can visit their nearest Kawasaki Dealership or also send a booking inquiry only through Kawasaki’s website.
