Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R deliveries in India commenced

India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. commenced deliveries of the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R in India from February 1st. Kawasaki launched the ZX-6R in November 2018 and announced the price on January 15th, 2019.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a long-awaited motorcycle from Kawasaki’s stables in India. With a price tag of INR 10,49,000/- (Ex-showroom), it is still on the higher side despite being locally assembled. This motorcycle is optimized for both track and street usage. Hence, it comes with a host of features. Interested customers can visit the nearest Kawasaki dealer for test rides, bookings, and other details.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R specs and features

The ZX-6R runs on a 636cc inline four cylinder, DOHC engine. It is good for producing 128.2bhp (at 13,000 rpm) and 70.8 Nm torque (at 11,000 rpm). It also comes with a myriad of features like Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), 3-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Power Mode selection and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS). The motorcycle also runs on Battlax Hypersport sports tires.

Kawasaki has also specced the bike with Showa suspension and Assist & Slipper Clutch. The motorcycle runs on a Pressed-aluminium perimeter frame. It also gets an adjustable clutch lever for better rider comfort. Up front, it sports twin LED headlights. It also gets LED tail lights. A multi-function LCD screen serves as the instrument cluster.
