Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R: Here is a good news for all Kawasaki fans. Kawasaki is one of the most popular Japanese two-wheeler maker known for building great sporty bikes. The company has already officially approved the latest model which is Ninja ZX-10R. The pictures of the bikes are really awesome and spread all over the internet world. The company has recently begun the bookings of the all-new 2018 Ninja ZX-10R superbike. The bookings are accepted in your all the Kawasaki showrooms. You can book the superbike in advance by just paying INR 3 lakh.
Kawasaki Motors India has announced that the latest variant will be manufactured locally at the Kawasaki Pune factory. The bike is expected to be released soon in India. The bike will be developed with CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) unit which will anyhow increase the price of the bike compared to existing variants. The price and launch date are not yet declared officially, but it could come with a price tag of INR 14 lakhs (ex-showroom). However, in terms of price, it will give a tough competition to its rival Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP’ which is available at INR 18.68 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The previous variant of the ZX-10R was a CBU (Completely-Built Unit), so the company has now enhanced the unit to offer raise the performance at an extreme level. The equipment is said to be brought from Japan. Moreover, the all-new ZX-10R will be launched along with certain rider management technology: Kawasaki Engine Braking Control (KEBC), Kawasaki Launch Control Model (KLCM), Kawasaki Intelligent Braking System (KIBS), 5-mode traction control system, corner management function and Kawasaki’s Quick Shifter (KQS).
In terms of technical specifications, 2018 Ninja ZX-10R will be equipped with a powerful 998cc, in-line four-cylinder powertrain which will improve the efficiency and increase performance. The motor is meant to generate 210 PS of peak power at 13,000 rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque at 11,500 rpm combined with a 6-speed transmission. The two-wheeler features Showa Balance Free forks and Brembo brakes including front 330mm dual disc with four-piston calipers and single rear 220mm semi-floating petal disc. The kerb weight is 206 kg. The company has developed the bike with its Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System.
The existing models of Kawasaki India include Z250, Ninja 300, Ninja 650, Z650, Versys 650 and Ninja 1000 and all have a huge demand. Sop, it will be exciting to see where the new model will maintain the high demand of Kawasaki bikes. The bike will be available in three variants and shades ZX-10R ABS (Satin Silver), ZX-10R SE (Black) and ZX-10R KRT Edition (Green). The new model is expected to hit the roads next month.
