Hello Bikers! The good news is finally here, now Kawasaki Ninja 400 will be out on the road alongside Ninja 300. The Kawasaki India have announced a special discount for the people who book the bike in this very month. This bike was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show and was also showcased at Noida, during 2018 Auto Expo.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 has a sharp look and it is sportier than its predecessor. It is also lighter by 6 kg. The motorcycle features split-LED headlights along with a part-analogue-part-digital instrument cluster with a large analogue tachometer. It seems like the smaller version of ZX-10R. The bike has a seat height of 785 mm ,a ground clearance of 140 mm.Its top speed is 190+ kmph.
A new liquid-cooled 399 cc parallel-twin engine that gives 44.4 bhp at 10000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm powers the bike. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The slipper clutch is standard. A new trellis frame which has increased rigidity, like the mental Ninja H2, is also a brainchild for the two wheeler. This is another reason for the bike being so light weight along with the decreased fuel capacity ie. 13.6 liters whereas the previous one had 17 liters. It also features a swingarm number plate. The dynamics handling of the bike have improved is the claim of the Japanese Automakers. The Motorcycle has a 41 mm telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock at the back. The braking duties are taken care of by a 310 mm front disc and 220 mm disc at the rear. A standard ABS just completes the picture.
Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors said “Ninja 300 is mainly made for beginners and Ninja 650 is popular among experienced riders. However, Ninja 400 fits the bill for those who are willing to buy a sports bike between 300 cc and 650 cc. As of now Ninja 400 will be available in limited numbers; because Ninja 300 is still our flagship model in India and it will be continued along with other Ninja models.”
Well this bike is only available in the green color KRT edition. It bears a tag of Rs 4.69 lakhs which is 1.09 lakhs more than the 300and it is available at the ex-showroom Delhi. The bike is being assembled at Kawasaki’s Chakan plant. Its being sold by its own dealership. This bike is a rival of itself.
