Jeep India has begun bookings for its new Jeep Compass Limited Plus. It has also fully revealed the new model. It will launch in the festive season, next month. Jeep has gone all out to make this trim of compass standout. Interested buyers can book the top-spec trim at select Jeep dealership for INR 51,000 to 1 lakh.

New Feature updates

The new Jeep Compass Limited Plus edition gets seven new major feature updates. It also gets new visual updates to set it apart from other models. The new car will get a new paint scheme – a dual tone paint job. In the images, we can see a red paint job with gloss black accents. The new feature update includes – a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear bumper extensions, and automatic wipers on the exterior side. It also gets a new 9-inch touch screen infotainment system, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and an additional USB charging port on the inside. The interior also sports tan leather seats.

Jeep Compass Limited Plus Engine Options

The engine, on the other hand, remains the same. It still runs on the 2.0-litre Fiat Multijet diesel and a 1.4-litre petrol engine. The diesel engine produces a maximum power of 173hp and the petrol engine churns out a generous 163hp. The gearbox options remain the same too. Diesel engine variant is still limited to only a 6-speed manual transmission. the petrol variant gets automatic transmission as an option.

With all these extra features on offer, the prices will definitely be steep. Currently, the Jeep Compass Limited 4×2 diesel costs INR 20.36 lakh. The 4×4 variant costs INR 21.35 lakh. The new Limited Plus model will set you back at least INR 1.5-2 lakh over the top end Limited trim.

There’s also a new Compass Black Pearl edition listed by Jeep. This model will come with a black-centric paint scheme. There is also the new Compass Trailhawk version coming in early 2019. The Trailhawk model is built for hardcore terrains and will feature changes to suit these needs. It will have plenty of physical and visual changes to further set it apart from base models.
