Details of Hyundai Venue Colours And Variants: Launch on 21 May

South Korean automotive maker, Hyundai Motor is all set to launch the all-new Venue on 21 May 2019. The bookings have been already commenced at just Rs 21,000. The bookings have been officially started at the company’s official website and showrooms. Although, before the launch, Hyundai has unveiled the shades and variants of Venue. The all-new sub-4 metre SUV will be available in a total of 13 variants.

The upcoming Venue will be launched in three engine and four gearbox options. The SUV will be available in 7 attractive shades: Lava orange, Polar white, Fiery red, Deep forest, Denim blue, Stardust, and Typhoon silver. Additionally, the company has also revealed three dual-tone variants: Denim Blue/ Polar White roof, Polar White/ Phantom Black roof, and, Lava Orange/ Phantom Black Roof.

The compact SUV will come in entry-level (E and S) as well as top-specs (S, SX, SX(0) and SX+) variants. The entry-level variants will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol powertrain which will make 83bhp of power and 115Nm of peak torque. The motor is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Venue will be also offered in an all-new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

The top-spec variants including S, SX, and the SX(O) will run on a three-cylinder T-GDI (Turbo-charged Gasoline Direct Injection) engine that will deliver 120bhp of power and 172Nm of max torque. The powertrain is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed dual clutch automatic also on offer. The dual-tone options is offered for 1.0-litre SX, and the 1.4-litre SX trims only.

The 1.4-litre four-cylinder U2 CRDI (Common Rail Diesel Injection) turbocharged diesel engine will make 89 Bhp of power and 220 Nm of max torque. This is the most powerful engine in the range. The diesel engine is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. So, the turbo petrol engine manual unit will be offered in S, SX, SX Dual tone and SX (O) variants whereas, the turbo petrol automatic unit will be introduced in SX and SX+ variants. The diesel unit will be offered in E, S, SX, SX Dual Tone and SX (O) variants.

The Venue has an attractive front highlighting new bonnet and projector headlamps. It is also equipped with LED DRLs on the front bumper. It has striking lines on the side moving from the hood. It has received a ‘Turbo’ badge in red finish especially for 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine variant. At the rear, the car gets LED tail lamps which looks classy with a stylish setup.

Hyundai Venue will be equipped with lots of high-level safety features including six airbags for the top-specs trim. It comes with hill assist control, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, ISOFIX child seat mounts, brake assist, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, front passenger seatbelt reminders and speed limit alerts, as standard.

Moving inside the cabin, the car has an all-black theme with silver bezels. It features steering mounted controls, a new infotainment screen, climate control, USB ports and a wireless charger. The instrument cluster features analogue tachometer and speedometer split by a digital MID. The company will also introduce Hyundai’s connected car technology called BlueLink with the new Venue.

Hyundai Venue is expected to be priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 13 lakh, ex-showroom. After the launch, it will rival against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra XUV300.
