Hyundai is making their entry to the sub 4 meter SUV segment with the introduction of Venue. Just yesterday, we have seen the feature list of the Connected SUV and today the images of the new Venue has been leaked. The images give a closer look to the exterior and interior features of the car together with its design and styling details. The images were clicked at a dealership stockyard. The Hyundai Venue SUV is scheduled to be launched by mid May, 2019.
The images show that the Hyundai Venue SUV sports unique squarish LED headlamps on the front along with skid plate with premium looking silver inserts around the fog lamp housing, projector headlamps with DRLs, front bumper and a unique styling massive cascading grille. Looking on the side profile, the new SUV sits on snazzy looking 16 inches dual tone alloys shod with 205/60 rubber on the top of the line variant. The rear of the car bears a neat design with the name of the car written below the Hyundai logo. The new Venue is based on the Carlino concept, which was showcased at the 2016 Auto Show.
The interior of the Venue is premium loaded with a host of features. The cabin features chunky steering wheel, 8 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, ac vents with silver bezels, telephone controls on speed selection and cruise control, a single zone climate control with a 12 V socket, two USB port of which one is for fast charging and a digital MID in between the tachometer and the speedometer. Besides that as suggested by the name Connected SUV, the Venue will come with a lot of connectivity features. The SUV will get an embedded SIM.
Powering the Venue is a 1.4 litre diesel engine, a 1.4 litre petrol and a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine. The 1.4 litre diesel motor makes a power of 100 hp and comes matted to a 6 speed manual transmission. The 1.4 litre petrol engine produces a power of 90 hp and it comes paired to a 6 speed manual transmission as well, on the other hand the 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine will come matted to a seven speed automatic transmission. The Hyundai Venue SUV is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 8 lakhs to Rs 12 lakhs. The all new Venue will lock horns with the Ford EcoSport, Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and the Tata Nexon.
