Hyundai is ready to launch the most awaited all-new Santro. The company has already started the bookings on October 10 at just Rs 11,100. The vehicle is scheduled to be launched on October 23, 2018. The popular Santro is finally ready to come back to India. The hatchback is a most loved model in the country for a long time. The company has planned to again introduce the model to increase the sales of its passenger vehicle in this festive season.

The Hyundai hatchback will be available in a total of five variants. D-Lite will be the entry-level variant which will be followed by mid-specs Era, Magna, Sportz. ‘Asta’ will be the top-specs variant of stylish hatchback which will be equipped with many high-level features. Santro is also expected to be revealed in a special edition variant which will be offered in green shade and green detailing. These features will be offered only in the Asta top-specs variant.

The 2018 Hyundai Santro has been spies testing many times. The hatchback will be wider and spacious. It will be 45 mm longer and comes with a wheelbase of 3610 mm. It has got the Santro’s popular tall-boy design along with more striking appearance. The mid-specs model is outfitted with halogen headlamps and will sit on 14-inch wheels with a wheel cover. It is also equipped with the latest Signature Cascade Grille with chrome detailing, and all-black cladding black as well as polished ORVM’s.

At the rear section, the hatchback receives a new tailgate arrangement and new tail lamps as well highlighting a new rear spoiler. The interior is also revised with new features and elements which makes it different from the previous variant. The five-seater car has got a twin shade beige and black treatment with comfortable seats. The cabin is more spacious with passenger more legroom and headroom as well.

The company has added amazing features in the cabin to give it a premium look. It gets AC vents at the back. The dash is integrated with an all-new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, mirror link, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and inbuilt GPS support. The new vehicle will be available in many shades like Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Stardust (dark grey), Imperial Beige, Marina Blue, Fiery Red, and that Diana Green.

The all-new car will be powered by a 1.1-litre petrol engine which will generate 69hp of power and 99 Nm of peak torque. The engine is combined with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox The company will also introduce a factory-fit CNG option, that will be offered in only two variants. It can claim a fuel efficiency of 20.3kmpl. The first 50,000 customers will also get special benefits on price. It will rival against Tata Tiago, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, and upcoming Maruti Suzuki Wagon R. The prices will be revealed soon.
