The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is the next iteration of one of the most loved hatchbacks in the Indian market. The third generation of the Grand i10 features loads of changes both on the outside and the inside. Let us take a look at some of them here.
Starting with the name, Hyundai says NIOS means ‘more’ and is a statement to getting the most out of everything. The car gets new design elements all over the exteriors. The biggest of them all is the new cascading grille up front. The aim of the new design language is to bring a little sportiness to the design. This can be seen with all the sharp angles present in the bumper. A more unique design approach with the new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is integrating a pair of DRLs to the grilles.
On the inside, we can see a completely new layout for the dashboard. The infotainment system appears to be a single unit with the main instrument cluster. We can also see the sporty touches on the interior too. The air con vents have a more angular shape. The steering wheel also includes a silver insert to add a little sporty look to it. It also gets a new instrument cluster layout.
The new Grand i10 will be powered with the same old 1.2-liter engines. However, it will also feature new AMT options. The bookings for the new Grand i10 NIOS are open across all the dealerships at Rs 11,000. Customers can also book the car online. The existing Grand i10 model will also be on sale alongside the new NIOS.
