Hyundai Creta is now a household name, right from the start Hyundai Creta became one of the favourite SUV among India crowd. The popularity stood the same when Hyundai launched the 2nd Generation Creta this month. More than 65,000 bookings till now in 5 months. Today Creta crossed domestic sales of more than 5,00,000 units.
Now that’s a huge number, and it took Hyundai Creta just 5 years to reach 5 lakh sales. That means around a Lakh of sales every year. Even the new Creta is continuing this trend and has become the best selling SUV from 3 months (May, June and July 2020). Even in July, the sales number stood at 11,549 units.

Hyundai also told that their SUV segment is performing great with 4 SUVs – All-New Creta, Venue, Tucson and Kona with a total of 34,212 units in April~July 2020. Along with their BS6 Diesel tech is working goof as 60% Creta sales are coming for Diesel. New Creta comes with three engines – 1.5 L MPi Petrol (6MT/ IVT), 1.5 L U2 CRDi Diesel (6MT/ 6AT) and Powerful 1.4 L Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol (7DCT). It competes with Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier.
