Honda WR-V Edge: Recently, the popular automobile company, Honda has launched the latest version of 2018 WR-V Edge Edition. The latest variant is the brand-new addition to the WR-V hatchback inspired by crossover. The design of the 2018 edition has received lots of tech modifications and is based on the mid-S trim present in the WR-V crossover. The brand-new variant is now available in two variants: Petrol and Deisel version. The latest petrol variant has got a price tag of Rs 8.01 lakhs and Rs 9.014 lakhs for the diesel engine model (Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The WR-V Edge Edition is a 5 seater vehicle concept. The dimension of the vehicle is 3,999mm in length, 1,734mm in width and 1,601mm in height. The latest Edition highlights an optional rear parking sensors and rear view camera screen combined with the interior rearview mirror. You will notice a modified front bumper guard, side exterior molding, and door edge trimming. Some additional highlights are door handle protector, tailgate spoiler, and multi-spoke alloy wheels which are all revised for 2018 version.
The cabin of the vehicle has also received some modification compared to the previous models. It is effectively renovated to present more comfortable seats for the driver and passenger. The cabin highlights automatic climate control, touch control panel, touchscreen display infotainment system, navigation benefits and many remarkable safety innovations like twin driver side airbags, back buzzer sensor, back view camera and ABS and EBD for the dynamic braking system. It is available in six colors Premium Amber Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Golden Brown
Metallic, and White Orchid Pearl.
The petrol version of the latest Honda WR-V Edge Edition is equipped with a powerful and active 1199cc, four cylinders, SOHC engine which is capable to produce 90 PS of maximum power @ 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of peak torque @ 4,800 rpm. The latest engine is combined with a five-speed manual transmission which transfers energy to the front wheels. The diesel variant comes with a turbocharged engine, a four-cylinder 1.5-liter engine with complete aluminum structure. The diesel engine produces 98.6 bhp of peak power @ 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque @ 1,750 rpm. The motor is combined with a six-speed manual transmission linked to front wheels.
By the last month of this year, Honda has decided to produce two models to India which can be the next-gen CR-V SUV and Honda Amaze compact sedan. The CR-V SUV will be a seven-seater concept and Amaze compact sedan was already debuted at the recent 2018 Auto Expo. For now, the powerful car, Honda WR-V Edge Edition will be an attractive car while on road. It will offer great performance and high speed along with its tough body look.
