The Honda Jazz facelift was first introduced last year at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was planned to launch in India by mid of 2018. But report says, the Honda Jazz will be launched in 19th of July in our country.
The current generation Honda Jazz has been on the market since 2014. But the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Hyundai i20 being the best selling cars in that segment had been the significantly strong competitors of the current Jazz. Therefore to keep up the competition Honda launches Jazz facelift. The Honda Jazz will come with both exterior and interior changes.
This updated new fourwheeler was launched in International market, Thailand last year. And this year it will be launched in India this month of July itself. Since this is a facelift, there will be no change imparted to it in terms of design and mechanics. But the Jazz facelift will get some update in styling to give it a better look. Besides that it gets some new features too.
The Jazz facelift is expected to come with features like ABS, EBD, and reverse parking sensors. The new four – wheeler comes with a little interior change. The inside is black and door pad fabic along with minor design changes in seats. Most importantly the Honda Jazz Facelift comes with the updated touchscreen infotainment system loaded with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It gets reverse camera and bluetooth connection as well. The screen is 6.8 inches and resolution will be enhanced. There shall be also HDMI input as well.
The Honda Jazz Facelift will get upgraded headlamps. It will be equipped with projector lamps that will run even at the day time. It will be provided with the 1.2 litre petrol engine. The engine will produce a power of 88 bhp and a peak torque of 115 Nm. A five speed manual transmission and a CVT is available with it. Besides that there will be another option for 1.5 litre diesel engine. This engine produces better power. The price is estimated to be Rs 6.5 lakhs and Rs 10.5 lakhs for the petrol and diesel engines respectively.
