Honda had recently released on 31st March of the running year the 2018 CB Hornet 160R and CBR 250R . Now again the automakers have increased their price by Rs. 500 each.
The 2018 versions of the bikes had some cosmetic changes and additional features, like the 160R gets an optional single channel ABS and LED headlight, on the other hand 250R gets LED headlight and stylish body graphics. The Hornet runs on a 162.71 cc air cooled single cylinder engine making a power output of 14.9 bhp and 14.5 Nm torque, mated to a 5 speed transmission system. Christened Dazzle Yellow Metallic is their newly introduced colour. The dimension of the Hornet is 2041 mm (length) x 783 mm (width) x 1091 mm (height). Its fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. The CBR 250R which was discontinued in the Indian peninsula shortly after its launch and it takes power from the 249 cc single cylinder engine, which happens to be 26.5 bhp followed by a 22.9 Nm torque. A six speed automatic gearbox makes it convenient for the rider to reach a top speed of 135 kmph. Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Mars Orange, Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Striking Green and Pearl Sports Yellow are the CBR 250R’s newly introduced color options. The Honda CBR 250R has a dimension of 2030 mm (length) x 720 mm (width) x 1127 mm (height). Its fuel tank capacity is 13 litres. Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Mahindra Mojo are seen as two potential competitiors for the sports tourer.
The Hornet 160R STD, CBS, STD CBS, DLX ABS had prices Rs. 84675, Rs.89175, Rs. 90175 and Rs. 92675 respectively, which has been modified to Rs. 85234, Rs. 89734, Rs. 90734 and Rs. 93234 respectively. Parallely, the CBR 250R Non ABS and ABS versions had prices Rs. 163584 and Rs. 193107 respectively, received a new price tag bearing, Rs. 164143 and Rs. 193666 respectively.
