Honda two-wheelers have delivered the first units of four Honda Forza 300 scooters. The company finally started the production of the mid-size premium scooter. The customers have already pre-booked the scooter. Hence, the company supplied the new Forza 300 to those buyers. These units are BS4, compliant models. The two-wheeler maker has previously delivered the first unit for the company’s BigWing showroom display only.
After noticing a magnificent response from the interested buyers, the company has planned to officially, introduce the Forza 300 scooter, next year. The scooter is India’s 1st premium mid-size scooter, which is combined with new-gen mobility, modern design and high performance. The vehicle built with advanced technology for offering fantastic riding experience to the buyers.
The Honda Forza 300 is designed with a sporty appearance and powerful engine. At the front, it comes with full LED lighting arrangement and lockable storage cases in the front apron. The scooter is integrated with an analogue-digital instrument console along with on-the-fly fully-electric adjustable windscreen. It features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which is first-in-class in the range. It is equipped with a 12V charging socket as standard.
The screen shows odometer with three modes, range, current mileage, trip meter, average mileage, clock, ambient temperature thermometer, and a battery sensor. The India-specs version comes with a smart key fob, fuel lid, under-seat storage, and 15-inch aluminium alloy wheel at the front and 14-inch rear wheel. The stylish scooter is more dynamic highlighted with compact dimensions. It gets silver elements at the front and side cowls which gives it a premium touch.
The new Honda scooter runs on a powerful fuel-injected SOHC, 279cc, liquid-cooled engine with four-valve four-stroke. The motor delivers 24.8 bhp of max power at 7000rpm and 27.2 Nm of torque at 5,750rpm. The motor is combined with a CVT automatic transmission along with an automatic centrifugal clutch and a V-Belt. In terms of suspension, it features 33 mm telescopic forks and 7-step adjustable twin rear shock absorbers, along with a single piece aluminium swingarm.
The scooter comes with a single 256 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear. It is offered with dual-channel ABS as standard. The company hasn’t revealed the price of the first-in-segment scooter which will be sold through CBU or CKD route in India. However, it is expected to be priced between Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 2.8 lakh. As said by the officials, the scooter will be available in select showrooms. It will rival against the likes of 22Kymco X-Town 300i.
