Honda Motor Company has introduced the all-new ABS variant of CB Unicorn 150. At present, the two-wheeler makers are busy upgrading their popular models with the latest safety features as per the new norms which will come into impact from April, this year. The price of the updated version is also higher than the current variant, but it will not affect the sales of the popular bike. The company has announced the bike at Rs 78815 which is Rs. 6500 more than the existing variant.
The delivery of the non-ABS model will be halted after April, this year as the upcoming norm will not allow the existence of bikes with more than 125cc in the Indian market. The company has previously stopped the production of CB Unicorn, but it was commenced again after observing the huge demand among the Indian fans. The bike now comes with single channel ABS to maintain the price range.
The bike runs on the same 4 Stroke Air Cooled, a 149.2cc engine which churns out 12.73 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is combined with a 5-Speed Gearbox transmission. The Braking Duties are handled with Front Disc 240 mm ABS and Rear 130 mm Drum. It features front suspension telescopic and rear suspension spring Loaded Hydraulic Type (Monoshock).
The Honda Unicorn CB 150 has a stylish look which is enhanced with chrome finished long front cowl, superior meter console, and bold taillight design. It is outfitted with a 3D badge on the fuel tank and chrome carburettor case. In terms of dimension, the bike is 2092mm in length, 756mm in width, and 1100mm in height. The bike is available in three colour variants: Pearl Igneous Black, Red, and Geny Grey Metallic. It rivals against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 150, Hero Achiever 150, and the TVS Apache RTR 160.
