Royal Enfields are always among the top modified bikes in India. People love to transform their Enfields into Bobbers, cafe racers, Flat trackers etc.
This time people from Smoked Garage, Indonesia transformed a Royal Enfield Himalayan into a Flat Tracker. Himalayan itself is an excellent Adventure Tourer and has the DNA to start from. So these Bali based custom bike builders took it up a whole, another level. Another interesting thing about this mod is that it was commissioned by UK Royal Enfield itself.

Royal Enfield wanted a Flat Tracker that has a futuristic look and retains the character of Royal Enfield Himalayan. And Smoked Garage just did that with a touch of their design. ‘SG-411’ as Smoked Garage likes to call it. One look at it and you’re stunned by the modern look yet with rugged style. It gets an Army Green colour highlighted with orange accents.
Side look shows the amazing idea behind the rear suspension design. There’s a small cut-out in the panel which lets you see the red mono-shock. The mono-shock is an Ohlins unit with a remote reservoir for better stability. Stock 41mm front shocks is replaced by 43mm upside down Showa. The wheels also are vastly different from the stock Himalayan. The spoked wheels are covered with carbon-coated covers alternatives with Dunlop K180s. It also gets carbon fork guards and new Nissin four-piston callipers with twin 310mm discs up front. The bike also gets a custom exhaust to complete the look.
All these mods have helped Himalayan shed some weight, it is now 19kgs lighter. While the modification remains one of a kind there are many Custom houses in India which can help you get your custom motorcycle and differentiate from the crowd.
