Hero MotoCorp has launched the most awaited XPulse 200 and the XPulse 200T in India. While the former is a purpose-built off-road and adventure motorcycle, the XPulse 200T is the more road-biased tourer version of the motorcycle. The all-new XPulse 200 was debuted at EICMA Motorcycle Show in 2017 in Italy and now, its officially for sale. XPulse 200T is the touring variant while the XPulse 200 is an off-road based model.
Hero XPulse 200
The XPulse 200 is a specially developed for great off-road riding experience. It has received all the features which makes it ideal for riding out of the city roads. In terms of suspension, the off-roader features telescopic forks at the front with 190mm travel and monoshock absorber at the rear with 170mm travel. It sits on larger wheels of 21-inch at the front and 18-inch at the rear highlighting Ceat Gripp tyres.
The bike comes with an ideal seat height of 825mm and ground clearance of 220mm. It is also equipped with a windscreen, flat handlebar, handguard, front fender, sump guard, knuckle guards and a high-mounted exhaust. The XPulse 200 is available in two variants Carb and Fi. Carb is priced at Rs 97,000, whereas the Fi variant gets the price tag of Rs 1.05 lakh
XPulse 200T is developed for riding on smooth city roads. It sits on the same Hero Xtreme 200R based wheels highlighting 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless MRF rubber. Other features of the Xpulse 200T are similar to the standard variant. Both of them are integrated with all-digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation accessible via an app, and LED lights. The XPulse 200T is available in Carb variant, priced at Rs 94,000.
In terms of Braking, both the bikes come with a single-channel ABS system. The bikes are powered by the same 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected engine which churns out 18.4bhp of power and 17.1Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is combined with a 5-speed transmission. The all-new Hero XPulse 200 is available in total 5 shades, while XPulse 200T comes in 4 colours.
Hero Xtreme 200S
Apart from introducing XPluse variants, the company has also launched the all-new, Xtreme 200S, which is the fully faired version of the naked Xtreme 200R. It is available at Rs 98,500 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). It features LED lighting and is integrated with an instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth, navigation, and gear position. In terms of braking, the bike features 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. It is introduced in three attractive colour variants: red, brown and black.
