The two-wheeler maker Hero Motocorp is ready to introduce its next bikes in India. The company will unwrap the all-new Hero XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T in the coming month. This new adventure model was debuted at EICMA Motorcycle Show in 2017 in Italy. The most interesting thing about these bikes is that these will be the most affordable adventure bikes in the country till now. So, gear up to notice the official launch of these sport bikes on May 1, 2019.
XPulse 200T is the touring variant which is somewhat similar to the standard version. Both the bikes will join the Hero’s new 200cc plus range soon. The standard version of the bike developed especially for a splendid off-roading experience. The XPulse 200 has received some special features for off-road riding whereas, XPulse 200T is assembled for riding on smooth city roads and capable for long journeys. The sporty looking adventure bike is built with front and rear petal disc brakes.
In terms of suspension duties, the bike features telescopic forks at the front with 190mm travel and monoshock absorber at the rear with 170mm travel. It comes with an ideal seat height of 825mm and ground clearance of 220mm. This off-roader sits on the large Ceat Gripp tyres of the 21-inch front wheel and rear 18-inches wheels. The company has also offered some distinct features like full LED headlamp setup, luggage rack, mud-guards, and a fully digital instrument console.
The XPulse 200 will be powered by a 200cc, single cylinder engine, based on Xtreme 200R that makes 18 bhp power and 17 Nm torque. `The XPulse 200T also runs on the same powertrain, although, there could be some distinct figures. The engine is combined with a five-speed transmission unit. It could be also introduced with switchable ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). Both bikes are integrated with a round LED headlamp and tail light and extended handlebars.
The company can also introduce a third bike in the launch event which is assumed to be fully faired 200cc bike. The third model was recently spotted in the country. In terms of price, all the three Hero bikes are will be available between the price range of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The price tag is more affordable compared to Royal Enfield Himalayan as well.
