After MG and a plethora of other Chinese makers, Great Wall Motors (GWM) another Chinese automaker is entering the Indian market. The company announced that it will be revealing the GWM Haval Concept H at the Auto Expo 2020 in February.
Earlier this month, Great Wall Motors (GWM) and General Motors (GM) today reached an agreement for the sale of GM India’s Talegaon manufacturing facility. This confirmed the manufacturer’s entry into the country. The company will also showcase its range of Haval SUVs, GWM EV products and innovations in the area of intelligent safety, connectivity and advanced autonomous systems at the Auto Expo 2020. The Haval marque is owned by GWM and specializes in SUVs. The company will also showcase the Concept Vision 2025.
The teaser shows a side view of the SUV. We can see some of the physical features like the LED headlights up front, LED tail lamps, roofline which slopes towards the rear, angled C pillars, and a raked windshield. A chrome accent runs throughout the window line. We can also see the turn indicators integrated into the ORVMs and huge wheel arches.
The GWM Haval Concept H will big names like the Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and also the Kia Seltos. Haval also has other different sizes of SUVs starting from H2 up to a 7-seater H9 variant.
