Honda is all set to introduce the all-new facelifted version of Jazz. The car is being developed for the global market. This will be the fourth generation Jazz. The images of the upcoming car have been surfaced online which gives us a glimpse of the design of Jazz. The hatchback has received a striking and stylish appearance compared to the existing model, particularly in the Type R variant that comes with attractive features.
The front of the updated Jazz looks bold and attractive. It is equipped with retro-looking rounded bigger headlamps that seem somewhat comparable to the second-gen. The all-new headlights come with the projector set up with LED headlamps and DRLs highlighting black elements. The front bumper is more attractive with outstanding black additions and a honeycomb mesh pattern for the fog lamp and air dam.
The next-gen Honda Jazz is expected to be introduced in a dual-motor hybrid engine. It is also assumed to be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol motor that will be an addition to the top-specs Type-R variant. It can be capable of making 220PS of max power and 245Nm of peak torque. The company has not confirmed if the Indian variant of Jazz hatchback will get these motor options. It can be available with same 1.2-litre i-VTEC and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC units. Although, the motors will be BS6-emission complaint to satisfy the upcoming emission norms.
More information of the all-new Jazz had not been revealed or confirmed so, we have to wait for the official announcement. From the side and the rear, the stylish hatch looks like Mercedes A-Class which has a sleek appearance. The company can extend the dimension of the car which will offer more legroom inside the vehicle. It has got bigger grille, highlighting black finish, and Honda badge decorated with a red shade. It has been noticed with small quarter glass beside the rear door.
The fourth-generation Honda Jazz is expected to hit the Indian roads by 2020. The superior hatchback will lock horns against the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Tata Altroz, Toyota Glanza, and Volkswagen Polo after the official launch. Moreover, it is expected to be launched at an introductory price between Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
