Ford India is expected to launch the new variant of Aspire soon, which is known as ‘Blu’. It is a titanium variant of the compact sedan. The automotive maker has recently revealed the all-new Figo Blu. So, expect the car to be introduced with few changes in terms of design. The new variant was spotted in the company’s dealership which looks more sportier than before.
The upcoming Aspire Titanium Blu variant has been spied with a blue finished front bumper. It is equipped with dual-tone blue and black decals on the hood. The car is outfitted with some back elements like 15-inch all-black alloy wheels, wing mirrors and roof. These updates will make the new variant different from the standard Titanium variant.
In the cabin of the Aspire Blu, we can see an all-black concept. The seats and dashboard are all-black along with the blue finish on the door trim and steering wheel. It is integrated with an all-new smaller 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment which drops out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. To maintain the cost concerns, the company will also remove Ford’s SYNC3 interface from the new variant.
Mechanically, the Ford Aspire Blu will be based on the Figo Blu, which was recently launched. It will be offered in petrol as well as a diesel engine. The variant will be available in a 1.2 litre-3 cylinder Dragon petrol and a 1.5 litre-4 cylinder TDCI turbocharged diesel engine which will make 95 Bhp/ 120 Nm and 98.6 Bhp/ 215 Nm, respectively. Both the combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
In terms of safety features, the sedan receives only 2 airbags and not 6 airbags like Figo Titanium Blu. It also features rear parking sensors. Regarding the price, the upcoming Figo Aspire Blu will be affordable in comparison to the Titanium+ version which is available at Rs 7,70,900for petrol and Rs 8,50,900 for diesel variants. The new variant aims at increasing the sales of the range as the standard version of Aspire has not impressed the customers much.
