A few weeks ago, we reported the facelifted TUV300 reaching dealerships. Now, Mahindra has officially launched the refreshed TUV300. The facelifted TUV starts at a price of INR 8.38 lakhs for the base T4 variant. The top of the line variant, the T10 (O) will set you back by about INR 10.17 lakh.
With the introduction of standard safety features, the prices of the base variant have increased between 4000-12000. The prices of the top variants have remained unchanged though. Standard safety features include a driver and passenger airbag, ABS, seat belt reminder and speed warning system across all variants.
Now, over to the visual changes. The majority of the changes have occurred in the face wherein the TUV300 gets an updated grille finished in piano black, smoked headlamps with DRLs, faux skid plates. At the rear, the TUV300 gets a clear lens tail lamp, and an X shaped spare wheel cover finished in metallic grey. The alloy wheel now gets a metallic grey finish too. The headlamps now get a static bending feature!
The changes are more obvious as you climb on to the cabin. The TUV300 gets a reverse camera, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, lumbar support, height adjustable driver seat and more. There are brushed silver accents in the cabin to accentuate the premium feel. Two new shades, Highway red, and Mystic copper have been added to the palette.
The TUV300 is available with only one engine option, the mHAWK 100 diesel engine. It is 2 stage turbocharged and married to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The TUV misses on the Ricardo AMT gearbox and the 80 HP 1.5L engine. The 1.5L BS4 engine is good for a 100 BHP @ 3750 rpm and 240 Nm torque @ 1600-2800 rpm.
