Revolt has revealed its first all-new electric motorcycle, RV400 in India today. The first in the country electric bike has been introduced with a sporty look, amazing features and specs. It is the first bike which is developed with artificial intelligence (AI) assistance. With the increasing craze for electric vehicles, the all-new Revolt e-motorcycle will attract the young-gen buyers with its good looks and features.
The all-new Revolt electric bike is built at the company’s plant in Manesar, Haryana. The bike is developed with 75 per cent localisation hence it will satisfy the Government’s FAME II subsidy norms. The e-bike has been developed under a naked street bike concept. It is outfitted with LED headlamp and an all-digital instrument console. The most interesting features of the bike are a sound roar, which is an exhausting pitch that turns the soundless motorcycle sound similar to a standard bike.
The bike is made with Revolt app support, which can be used to change the exhaust sounds. The company aims at developing bikes with complete accessibility and zero per cent fuel residue. The new bike offers performance and is completely suitable for daily rides on city roads. The motorcycle is integrated with a lightweight lithium-ion battery. It has also received ARAI certification which claims a range of 156km and a top speed limited to 85kmph.
One of the most interesting features introduced with the new concept is the 4G sim feature that will keep you linked with it and guarantee convenient OTA (Over The Air) updates. If you face any software issue, then updates will immediately solve it. The Revolt app is dedicated to enhancing the bike ride experience of the riders. The application is integrated with advanced features which includes navigation support, real-time bike details like battery status and bike mode, ordering a battery for a delivery, way to swap station, and many more.
Not only these, but you can also easily start/ stop the bike via Bluetooth. You can also go for long trips without any navigation issue. The app will guide you the routes for the given destination. Some other features of the app include sound preview, show bike diagnostics and statistics, check estimated range in different modes, upload essential documents like driving licence, make payments for battery swaps, and Geofencing with theft control.
The application also allows the riders to share real-time bike location and ECU updates via OTA. The onboard charging feature allows the battery to get charged easily via 15-ampere socket in just 4 hours. The all-new RV400 has been revealed in two attractive shades: Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. The bike can be booked at a token amount of Rs 1000 only in Delhi and via the official website and Amazon from 25th June.
The bookings in other cities like Pune, Bangalore and others will start in the next 4 months. It will rival against the like of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Suzuki Gixxer. The prices are not yet revealed officially, however, it is expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh.
