After losing in round 1 to Tata Nexon, the Ford has came back with two new and updated variants to give it a fierce competition.The price of the petrol variant of Ford EcoSport signature is Rs. 10.4 lakhs and the diesel one is Rs.10.99 lakhs. The S variant of the EcoSport costs Rs. 11.37 lakhs for the petrol ones and the Rs. 11.89 lakhs for the diesel.

The Ford EcoSport Signature is inspired by the Titanium variant. The car has a stylish blue interior with power slide sunroof and black painted roof rails and roof spoiler. the wheels are 17 inch Diamond cut black alloy ones. Black headlight and bezel fog lamp give the car a classy look. Electronic stability and traction control system ensures the safety of the driver. The front grille with chrome surround is black glossy in colour. The car is available in 4 colour options , Diamond white, Absolute black, Moondust silver and Lightning blue. The car runs on a 1.5 litre dragon engine which produces a power of 123 Ps and comes along with a 5 speed manual transmission box.

On the parallel front, the Ford EcoSport S draws similarity from the titanium + variant. Power slide sunroof, HID headlamps, black painted roof, stylish orange themed interiors, black painted roof rails and black headlamp and bezel fog lamps, are the unique features of the car. The ecoboost engine and the 4.2 inch analog cluster also add up to its new features. The car will draw power from the 1.0 litre 3 cylinder EcoBoost engine ,producing 125 PS and 170 Nm, mated with a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox. The cars will run on both Petrol and Diesel.

The mileage for both the variants is same 18.1 kmpl for petrol. The diesel engine specification says it to be a 1.5 TDCi , producing 100ps. The mileage of the cars will be 23 kmpl. in the words of Anurag Mehrotra, president and managing director at Ford India, “In line with our Feels like Family Promise, we are committed to meeting diverse needs of our customers and act on their feedback. The addition of Sunroof, a feature that customers have been demanding, and world-renowned EcoBoost engine technology, is an example of our commitment.
