Ducati Motor has launched the Multistrada 1260 Enduro in India today. The bike has been launched with a starting price of Rs 19.99 lakh.
Multistrada 1260 Enduro is the most hardcore and off-road ready bike from the Multistrada lineup. Ducati offers many features and accessories to make the bike ready for rough terrain.
Let’s talk about the host of features offered by Ducati. The bike comes with Ride by Wire for better control in throttle on/off transitions, along with that comes four riding modes-Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro. You also have all the electronics by you’re stable including 3-level Bosch cornering ABS, 6-axis IMU, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control both of which get 8 level adjustments and can be switched off. You also get Vehicle Hold Control and Ducati cornering lights.
Suspension duties are carried by semi-dynamic Sachs suspension with 185mm of travel at both ends, which can be electronically adjusted by Ducati Skyhook suspension package. You get a seat height of 860mm, and can also opt for optional 840mm seat height. Ducati offers wire spoked wheel, which is always better for off-roading. The wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres – 120/70 R19 at the front and 170/60 R17 at the rear. The fuel tank is pretty massive at 30 litres offering a range of around 450km.
The instrument console is a 5-inch TFT display which can be paired with your smartphone through Ducati Multimedia System (DMS). You can access all the riding statistics and your call logs and music via the DMS.

The bike is powered by a 1,262cc Testastretta DVT (Ducati Variable Timing) L-twin cylinder engine that makes 158.2ps at 9,500rpm and 128Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with the slipper clutch and Ducati Quick Shifter for both directions as standard.
Ducati offers pretty long service intervals, you can run for 15,000 km straight without requiring an oil change. The prices start from Rs 19.99 lakh for the Ducati Red colour, while the Sand Variant will set you back by Rs 20.23 lakh. Booking is open across all the Ducati dealerships. The bike competes with the BMW R 1250 GS and Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx.
