Ducati Monter 821 Released In India, Through Twitter

Everyone about to purchase a Ducati Monster 821 is in for a treat. Ducati is offering a free Termignoni Exhaust with every new purchase from April 1. Also on offer is a free Ducati Quick Shift System (DQS). This combination will make the Monster 821 faster and also sound better.

Ducati celebrated 25 years of the Monster brand by bringing back the Monster 821 last year. This time, they wanted to do something special to celebrate one year of Monster 821. As Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India, says, “We decided to celebrate one year of Monster 821 in style by complimenting it with an armor it rightfully deserves.”

He also added, “It will definitely excite the naked bike enthusiasts in the country. The addition of the Termigioni exhaust system and DQS will work flawlessly to make the Monster 821 much more desirable as an urban city tourer while giving it more aggression and street presence. New Ducati Monster 821

The new Ducati Monster 821 runs on an 821 cc 11-degree Testastretta, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, water cooled, petrol powered motor. This is paired with a 6-speed transmission system. The power output is 108 bhp at 9250 rpm with a 86 Nm peak torque at 7750 rpm. The suspension is handled by 43 mm USD forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. Brembo units with three-level Bosch ABS look after braking schedules alongside eight-level Ducati Traction Control. The bore of the bike is 88 mm and the stroke is 67.5 mm. The compression ratio is 12.8:1. It also accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 3.8 seconds. The bike sits on 17 inches Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires.
