The Italian manufacturer announced the launch of the new Ducati 959 Panigale Corse in India. This luxury sports bike will cost INR 15.2 lakh. The Indian variant gets a Ducati Corse MotoGP inspired livery.
Ducati 959 Panigale Corse Engine and Features
The Ducati 959 Panigale Corse runs on a 955cc Superquadro engine. It produces 110 kW (150 Hp) of power at 10,500 rpm and a torque of 102 Nm (75 lb-ft) at 9,000 rpm. Also, this Euro-4 type-approved engine.
Also, the India spec 959 Panigale Corse misses out on a few top tier features, unlike the International variant. We don’t get the fancy Öhlins suspension, Akrapovic titanium dual-exhaust, Pirelli tires, lithium battery, and Ohlins steering damper.
The new Panigale Corse also gets a ton of technical goodies to tame the high power. It gets the latest generation two channel Bosch ABS for a safe ride. Also present is the Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS). We also see Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Ride-by-Wire (RbW) making its way on this liter class super bike. Three riding modes are on offer to alter the bike’s riding behavior to suit the situation. These riding modes are Race, Sport, and Wet.
Sergi Canovas, Managing Director, Ducati India said, “The Panigale has always been the definite Ducati super bike that allows biking enthusiasts to have an unparalleled experience on a race track. In this special Corse livery, the 959 is inspired by the colors of our MotoGP bike, the Desmosedici GP 18,”.
