Hammer: Mumbai based car designer, DC Design headed by the Dilip Chhabria, has introduced many latest cars in the Auto Expo 2018. They have showcased a renewed version of Mahindra Thar named as ‘Hammer’. The company has completely customized the Mahindra Thar to produce the bulky ‘Hammer’ model. They have improved the design in latest Hammer which was bizarre in the previous model, Thar. The company has also rebuilt some features to improve the customer response. With some same features and specs, the Hammer features an outstanding heavy exterior which will attract all while it’s on road.

However, the DC Design has limited the production of Hammer at just 300 units so the interested buyers have to hurry after the official launch. The interior is like a dream of all most of the vehicle lovers. You must have never thought that it the customized Thar will get such an extravagance enclosed look in the inner compartment. DC has stored the Mahindra Thar’s Template and combined bulkiness to the entire exterior. You can see the trademark grill in the Hammer which is same compared to the Thar. The design of the Thar is somewhat still on as the new model is enclosed by curved projector headlights.

One of the best addition will be the giant touchscreen infotainment screen present on the dashboard. The Hammer comes with sparkling as well as soft-cushioned seats. Furthermore, the cabin’s roof-line is replaced with chrome-finished housings surrounding the innovative cabin lights.
The Hammer can be powered by 2.5-litre 2,498cc turbo diesel engine, which will produce 105 hp of power at 3,800 rpm and 247 Nm of torque at 1,800-2,000 rpm. Its dimension is about four meter and weighs nearly 1750 kg. It features 5-Speed manual gearbox. The modified version of Thar (Hammer) will be available at INR 5.95 lakh onwards.
