Datsun Go Facelift: Datsun has announced the latest Datsun Cross in January 2018. Finally, the next-gen hatchback Go edition has been spied in the Indonesian market. Recently, the latest car’s will be coming with CVT automatic transmission in the Indonesian markets which will be combined with a standard five-speed manual. The latest undisguised spy shot of the vehicle reveals all the exterior features of the hatchback which looks tremendous.
In the recent spy shots, the facelift variant is noticed with an amazing front appearance with a latest broad front and rear fender, along with improved circular fog headlamp. Somewhat, the design is based on the latest Cross crossover. From the side portion, the vehicle is supposed to be same and appears identical to the Nissan Micra. Now, it sits on all-new alloy wheels, massive rear spoiler, new side skirts, and indicators combined in the exterior mirrors. The boot lid is simple and clean with the company’s emblem added. The medical is 3,785mm longer, 1,635mm wider and 1,485mm taller and wheelbase 2,450mm.
The hatchback also gets a modified interior with some striking revisions. The dashboard of the car now looks more attractive and features many upgraded features like the modified instrument panel, an all-new touchscreen infotainment system of 6.75-inch like crossover, and round AC vents. The Datsun Go’s cabin is so colored in dual shades which include beige trim. It will be outfitted with the latest music system featuring AUX-in and dual speakers. The high-range variant will be outfitted with complete power windows, Mobile docking station with speaker, central locking, multi-functional steering wheel and many more.
The facelift variant of the hatchback will be equipped with a powerful yet identical 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine which will produce 68hp of max power at 5,000rpm and 104Nm at 4,000rpm of peak torque. The engine will be combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox transmission. The company is all set to introduce the Go edition in Indonesia in May 2018. They are also expected to launch the hatchback in India, this year. Unfortunately, the CVT automatic is likely to be replaced with be AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) for the India-spec model. The existing variant of GO is sold at INR 3.29 – INR 4.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). So the facelift will come at an increased price compared to the existing variant.
