Skoda has recently unveiled the much awaited version of its Kushaq. The company for the first time ever, has designed a model for Indian and that too made in India, based on the MQB A0IN platform. The mid-size SUV is expected to give a tough competition to other SUVs like Seltos and Creta. Does the Skoda’s Kushaq have what it takes to beat its well-recognized rivals? Dimension
If it is to mention about the size of Skoda Kushaq, it measures 4,225 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, stands 1,612 mm tall and has a 2,651 mm long wheelbase which is one of the finest in terms of quality. The Kushaq has 385-litre boot space, along with a ground clearance of 188 mm.

The comparative analysis shows that the two rivals of Kushaq i.e Seltos and Creta are much longer, wider, taller than the Skoda’s Kushaq. It is the Kushaq wheelbase that is the longest.
Powertrains
For powering the entry-level variants of the Skoda Kushaq will be a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine giving the output of 115 PS of highest power and 175 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be viable with a 6-speed manual transmission that too with an option of 6-speed torque converter auto.
The Creta and Seltos get a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally pronounced petrol engine rated at 115 PS/144 Nm, which can be either a 6-speed MT or an optional IVT.

Features
Skoda Kushaq has everything to catch the glimpse of every car lover like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, automatic headlamps with LED DRLs, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, rain-sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitoring, cruise control, wireless charging, ambient lighting, connected car technology (for geo-fencing, car tracking, service reminders, insurance reminders, anti-theft notification, and so on). While the others like Creta or the Seltos does not have all the said features.
Price
The price of Skoda Kushaq is yet to be revealed. It is expected to happen close to the launch of the model: it is expected that the model may price from Rs 13 lakh onwards. On the other hand the price of Seltos is between Rs 9.89 lakh and Rs 17.45 lakh, while the Creta is retailed at a base price of Rs 9.99 lakh.
The comparative analysis highlights that Kushaq has many features which other SUVs like Creat and Seltos lack but if a buyer wants to own it he has spent more than the above mentioned SUVs model. Choice is solely the buyers only, want he wants to own.
